JC Saddington Park

Today I had the opportunity to join a guided birding hike hosted by The Riverwood Conservancy (theriverwoodconservancy.org). We spent an hour and a half wandering the park and observing the birds. We mostly spent our time watching the birds on the lake. We saw a ton of birds and more than 20 different species. One of the highlights was seeing a Western Grebe. As the name implies, it’s from the west coast, but is a rare visitor here in Ontario. Here are some of my better pictures from the morning:
